You guys!! We finally bought our home February 25th! What a journey it has been so far.
I can’t believe it’s already been 2 months. I really wanted to write a post a few weeks ago, but busy doesn’t even begin describe what’s been going on. Now that we have our home, I decided it was time to take Koo Koo Krafts through a change and rebranded to The Belmont Ranch. We live in a ranch style home on Belmont Street. I wanted to adjust from providing easy crafts & recipes to providing ways to make your house a home on a budget. You don’t need all the money in the world to make your home beautiful!
So, I wanted to give y’all a little tour of our home. Nothing crazy, just to show you what we’ve been up to!
Our first few weeks of living in the new house felt like we weren’t really “living.” It’s like our to-do list just keeps growing and growing. We want to do this, we want to add this, take away that.. blah blah blah. To start off, we had our family over to help us paint most of the rooms on the day that we closed. Then, Anthony and I remodeled some of the kitchen and added an island. We also did a lot of yard work. Now we are in the process of knocking down the wall between the kitchen and living room. We’ve cut into the kitchen wall and prepared a pantry opening where we will put a barn door! Here is a before and after of the kitchen so far.
After we were done working on the kitchen, I knew we needed a little break. Renovating a home is a whole other world. Renovating your home while living in it will put a true test to ANY relationship! Patience.. patience.. patience! Everyone said it wouldn’t be easy and not to rush, which is so true. When we first moved in, I had the mentality that everything had to be done ASAP. We have been resting between projects and giving ourselves about 2 weeks in between before starting another project. It is fun to see the final result when the projects are over. I am seriously in love with our kitchen.
Since starting our projects, I have come to terms with the journey of owning a house. It does not matter that I might have a half a wall down, holes in the floor, and dust all over the place. What matters is the time, love, and effort that we are putting into our house. And that’s what makes it a home.
Cheers to that. Bless this mess! XOXO & make sure to follow me on instagram to stay up to date with our projects!

Thank you so much! We worked really hard! It's tough doing everything on your own but worth it in the end 🙂 Thanks for stopping by, xo
