June Favs and Giveaway!

Our Home

15 Jun

I am so excited to be sharing some more of my current favs with y’all. I love sharing products with you that I truly believe in and something I have actually worn or used. Have you heard that wood watches are all the rave right now? I kept hearing about them, and I knew I had to have one when I saw it. Jord Wood Watches are so cute, stylish, and lightweight, which is a win-win in my book!

The watch that I have is the Fieldcrest Maple women’s watch here. The blond wood matches my jean jacket perfectly, and fits just right! I just need a messy bun and some yoga pants and we would be all set to go junkin’ on a Saturday morning! Really though, the light wood reminds me of hanging out by the fire, drinking a margarita, and enjoying the sweet, sweet summertime. It is also SO much lighter than my other watches, and matches anything. It practically feels like I have nothing on my wrist. Truthfully, the first day I wore it to work, I received compliment after compliment. People were fascinated by a wood watch, because it’s something they’ve never seen before. If you’ve been following me for awhile, then you know I love one of a kind pieces. These unique watches make a cool gift too. Perfect gift for father’s day, birthdays, and Christmas!

I wore it through a day of gardening, and it stayed perfectly clean and NO scratches! They have so many adorable styles and one with a turquoise face.. umm yes please! We have teamed up to offer you guys a giveaway. You just have to click this link to enter your name and email for a chance to win a $75 credit to your own wood watch. AND GUESS WHAT.. there are no losers! Even if you don’t win, you will still get a $20 credit! Woop Woop!

And how adorable does this watch look with my #vintage shirt from Lindsay and Jolene over at New England Nesters?! I am in LOVE with this shirt and how comfortable the relaxed fit is. I love rockin’ it when I’m out thrifting, running errands, and doing yard work! They also have different saying such as Yard Sale Queen and Gone Pickin’. How stinkin’ cute? The girls even make vintage book letters and tablet holders. We are teaming up to give away one of these amazing shirts this weekend on Instagram.

I have always had a love for bohemian decor, but when we moved into our new home, I kind of strayed away from it to focus on my love for farmhouse-vintagey decor. Until I stumbled upon Stephanie at Bohemian Reveries. I instantly knew I needed one of her dream catchers in my life! And Stephanie has agreed to team up with me and participate in my giveaway on Instagram. You’ll be entering to win this stunning neutral colored dreamcatcher with some hints of light blue. The driftwood and the flower are so beautiful, and no two pieces are ever the same! Like I said earlier, I looooove unique and one of a kind pieces!

I have always loved vinyl decals. I love when the vinyl looks so amazing it practically looks painted on. Just like this adorable “welcome” decal made by Whitney at Just The Frosting! They have over 300 decals available in the shop, and are so reasonably priced, you’ll never buy decals in a department store again. Whitney has also been so gracious enough to participate in my Instagram giveaway this weekend! So you’ll be entering to win THREE awesome products on Instagram.

So many goodies! I’m looking forward to putting a list together for next month, which might even include some of my favorite hair & face products too. Don’t forget to enter in the JORD giveaway which ends June 20th! And make sure to check out Instagram this weekend for the giveaway.

Much love friends, xo

A few things that make my heart happy these days: A few things that make my heart happy these days:

Growing my very own sunflowers from seed
Trying new recipes like this dill & fennel cheddar sourdough loaf 🤤🥖🌻
Homeschooling my loves

If 20 year old me could see me now, almost 30 and realizing.. these are the days ☀️
Gardening has brought such a peace to my life that Gardening has brought such a peace to my life that I never knew I needed. Growing up, I spent hours in my grandmother’s garden, eating carrots right from the ground and being fascinated with each bite. I started 4 years ago planting in one big raised bed, and every year I learn more. It’s such a challenge to garden, but there’s something about it that still fascinates me to this day. It truly brings your family together to make an effort to connect with your food and nature.

Thankful for Ant who helps without ever complaining to make this the beautiful garden I envisioned. I love watching our children eat a whole pound of strawberries or wipe out an entire trellis of snap peas without either making it into the house first. Planting seeds and weeding with the girls, teaching them every step of the way. Gardening has taught me to slow down a little more.

Hoping to have a little farm stand to sell our veggies, eggs, kombucha, sourdough and more homemade goods sometime in the summer. ☀️🌻

one month ago I had the homebirth of my dreams ✨ one month ago I had the homebirth of my dreams ✨ after c-sections with layla & gabby, I fought hard for the birth that I wanted and deserved. 48 hours of back labor which was the worst pain I’ve ever had in my entire life, but it was worth every second to have the experience of giving birth peacefully in my bedroom. Anthony, my midwives, my sis and my doula were absolutely amazing. Dalton John was 9.10 pounds and two weeks overdue, he sure made me work for his arrival! It’s been a beautiful month with him by our side 💙 more pics to come!
