Brimfield Flea Market Experience

Our Home

22 Sep

Have you ever heard of the Brimfield Antique Festival? Well if not, that place is AH-MA-ZING! It’s a festival hosted three times a year for a week long, with just about every antique you could imagine. It was seriously my dream come true! How have I never been to such a magical place before? I wanted to share my experience & pictures with y’all. I even met up with some insta besties of mine and it was such a joy to meet them!

So, there are over 4,000 vendors and 25,000 visitors over the week. It is very overwhelming, and I took advice to not plan to see it all in one day. I went Saturday and Sunday, and that still wasn’t enough time to see it all! This planter above was absolutely breathtaking. Too bad it was way out of my price range.

Anything chippy or rusty just catches my eye immediately. I could just stare at these kind of booths all day and never get bored. I feel like I could do something with every item in the above photo lol.

I’m crushing on anything blue or turquoise right now. I think it must be the summer and all the bright fun colors, but something about light blue makes my heart happy. I wish I could have bought this whole shelf of blue mason jars.

Look at all these lanterns!! Oh my! Need I say more? Y’all should know I have a lantern obsession, but unfortunately these lanterns were way too expensive for mwah.

So, I warned you about my obsession with light blues lately. When I saw this door, I was hoping and praying the price tag was right. It was $45, which I think is a steal, but it was also the first booth I had seen a barn door at. I wanted to check out the rest of the market before deciding. Luckily, when I went back at the end of the day, it was still there! They even took $5 bucks off and I got it for $40. I am going to paint it with white chalk paint and distress it so some of the blue comes through. Then, we will be using this as our pantry door! I can’t wait.

The nicely styled booths were great for my photo ops, but not for my wallet. I tried to stay away from them because they were so expensive, but they were just so pretty! So of course I took tons of pictures. I find the best stuff in an unorganized bin full of junk.

Dude! Look at the size of this dough bowl! What in the world would one do with a dough bowl this size?! I pondered all of the things I could do with it, but nothing really came to mind. Do any of you have a dough bowl this size? If so, you have to show me what you’ve done with it so I can know next time I see something as outrageously amazing like the one above.

Did I mention the amount of people? Jeesh it was overwhelmingly busy, but I tried my best to keep my cool and relax. I also brought a little shopping cart, which was the best idea ever! I didn’t have to worry about lugging items around while I searched through the booths.

This booth was styled wonderfully! My girlfriend Nicole bought the galvanized post box, isn’t it adorable? I got a bunch of goodies and can’t wait to share what I’ve done with them. I already shared some on Instagram!
Talk soon loves,
XoX Sarah
