This nursery has been a long time coming folks. I dreamed of the day I could finally turn our guest room into a nursery. I walked by it a million times and just envisioned the room decorated so beautifully and imagined all the memories we would create in there. As soon as we found out Layla was a girl, I got to planning. I first started by really cleaning out the guest room and luckily I had already painted it a neutral gray last year so it matched everything I wanted to do. I knew I wanted a Boho theme but I also wanted to incorporate woodland animals in there too. I have about half of the nursery done so far, but I wanted to share the design board I used in creating the space. When the nursery is finished, I’ll do a full reveal here on the blog.
It’s taken me awhile to get everything just right, but seeing everything on a vision board like this really helps in making all the final decisions. Picking out the rug was definitely the hardest choice, but I am SO happy with the one we went with. It really pulls everything together and gives it that girly vibe with the pink. There are two built-ins in her room surrounding the windows, so I decided to decorate those with some small fake plants, thrifted baskets, a couple new things, and a few pieces passed down from many of our family members. The wood cut out will obviously have Layla Jean written on it, and I chose a teepee and tree design instead of the hearts.
I can link all of the products except the stuff for the gallery wall, which was all found at Hobby Lobby and was 50% off! They have great woodland and boho themed decor there. And below you can click any image to shop that specific item! I can’t wait to show you guys the final nursery reveal. I also can’t wait to show you our baby girl finally in her nursery in 3 months. Time is flying!
