Boho Woodland Baby Girl Nursery Reveal

Our Home· Pregnancy

10 May

My baby girl’s nursery has been done for quite some time now. I started working on it pretty early in my pregnancy, and gradually got things done over time. I’ve been dreaming of designing a nursery for years now. I am so excited to finally share all of the details and sources with you guys today! I wanted a nursery that was a mix of the woodland theme, but incorporated girly tones too. After putting together my design board here, it was fairly easy to bring it all together. I didn’t want too neutral of a palette, but also didn’t want the room to scream “PINK,” so I worked with both gray and pink pretty well I think!

Lots of love and thought went into this nursery! We bought this dresser from a friend when we first moved into our house and just used it in the guest room. I decided to paint it white and paint the handles gray so it matched perfectly. The gallery wall is a mix of things from Hobby Lobby and JoAnn Fabrics.

Her shelves might be my favorite part of the whole room. Many of the animal items were passed down from my husband and I’s grandparents. The baskets are holding things like headbands, pacifier clips, and hair bows. I had a lot of fun decorating and styling these shelves. I hope she loves them just as much as I do!

Her name sign is just adorable. I love how it’s personalized and adds the touch of woodland, without being too overbearing. And can we talk about the bear rug?! It’s absolutely perfect. On the other side of it is a blanket type material, so she can snuggle all up in it when she’s old enough. I’m linking the sources for everything at the end of the post, so make sure to check out the awesome makers. The little table next to the crib and recliner was thrifted for $4 at Savers. It was beat up and white, so I gave it some love and painted it a light gray.

I love the monitor that clips onto the wall, and what’s even cooler about it, is that it has an app you can download and view everything from your phone. It also plays different sounds and you can talk through it too. I got the matching sheets and changing pad cover from Carousel Designs. I love how you can customize the material and there are so many to choose from! I chose the ones with the deer, since they were more neutral, but still tied in with our theme.

I made this growth chart ruler that we will be able to use it for Layla as she grows, and we can take it with us if we decide to move. It was also perfect for this space as soon as you walk into her room. I hope you guys all love Layla Jean’s nursery just as much as I do! It was by far my favorite room to design thus far. Now, I need to focus on making our bedroom just as pretty, haha. I will link tons of sources below, but if you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment, send me an email, or shoot me a message on Instagram! I’m hoping to get two more blog posts up before her arrival, which really will be any day now. I’m 2cm dilated and 50% thinned out! I can’t wait to see her in this beautiful room we created for her.

Hi, was wondering if you remember the name of the paint you used for your walls. Loved the gray!

our time together as a family is a gift. and i wil our time together as a family is a gift. and i will never forget 6 years ago pleading to god to make us parents. he delivered 🙏🏼 and gave us four of the most beautiful children i could have ever imagined. 📸 @sadiecooperphotography
August 1st at 9:56am our Jaxson Jeremy was born at August 1st at 9:56am our Jaxson Jeremy was born at home, weighing in at 11 pounds!! 😍😅 ELEVENNNN pounds. Lol. We are all doing so well now, resting and settling into being a family of 6. 🫶🏻 I’m not quite ready to share our birth story just yet as we had some complications, but when the time is right I’ll record a YouTube video and share all the details. Until then, we’re soaking up all the newborn snuggles with our littlest love. Forever blessed for my growing family and the ability to birth these beautiful humans.
Yet again another child to be born after my “due Yet again another child to be born after my “due date” 🤪 Trusting in God’s timing is not always easy, but I’m trying. 💙 Dalton was my longest pregnancy at 43 weeks; this little guy better not make us wait another 2 weeks though! 😅 Layla was 40+5 (induced) and Gabby was 39 weeks (csection)

Ready for another beautiful home birth, whenever Jaxson is ready. 🫶🏻 At what gestation were your babes born?!
38 weeks with my little Jaxson Jeremy 💙 it’s 38 weeks with my little Jaxson Jeremy 💙 it’s crazy as I have more kiddos how fast the pregnancies go. I feel like I blinked and we’re almost here. Now to getting my ducks in a row! I’ve been nesting like crazy, deep cleaning my house, tending to the garden and just have to get my freezer meals prepped and I’ll be ready *i think* 😅 It’s funny because Dalton didn’t come until I was 43 weeks which is literally 5 more weeks from now…. I just might melt from the summer’s heat if I have to wait another 5 weeks 🤣 But for real, babies come when they are ready. No crazy natural inductions happening over here. Just patience. However, we’re ready whenever you are, my little man 🫶🏻
Garlic has quickly become one of my favorite thing Garlic has quickly become one of my favorite things to grow! Set it and forget it! I planted my garlic in October & it will be ready to harvest in July. Using the scapes in recipes is a great way to add garlic flavor and utilize the garlic before it’s ready to harvest. I planted both hard neck and soft neck, so I will save the hard neck varieties over the Fall/Winter and use the soft neck fresh. Have you ever planted garlic before?!
